So Shooter (we will call him X) and the badguys (1,2,3) here's how it goes down.

X gets attacked by 1, X retreats, 1 chases and then lobs a molitov at X, X keeps running, 1 corners him in some cars, catches a .223 to the dome.

X circles back around attempting to check on 1.

People start chasing down X.

X runs down the street. X falls. A guy Drop-kicks X, then 2 tries to beat him with the skateboard, and take his weapon, X pops 2 in the chest.

3 then shows hands (With glock Compact in one) and then charges X. X pops the bicep. 3 stops.

X then continues down the street to the cops to give himself up.

That was almost some gun-kata levels of weapon retention, handling, and control by Mr. Rittenhouse right there when he was on the ground. That skateboard would have injured his head if he did not move in the last second so his left side absorbs the blow and distributes the force of the impact evenly to avoid injury, and without breaking momentum, goes into a semi-fetal position to deliver a 5.56x45mm NATO right into the scumbag's chest at almost contact range, before swiveling around again to deal with the handgun wielding threat. This almost resembles the huge gunfight sequence in The Crow when Eric Draven takes on Top Dollar's entire squad of thugs in the warehouse.

I would NOT be surprised if military and police tactical leaders are studying this footage right now to see what new techniques they can instruct their troops on CQ gunfighting.

Absolutely well done Mr. Rittenhouse. That was fucking inspirational and awesome beyond words. If the arm-shot POS ends up dying from his injuries, this would be a fucking jackpot.

So the missing part for me after watching all these linked snippets and video's (thanks to @VA-Varminter for that) is what was the catalyst that had Kyle Rittenhouse separated from his group and being chased by the pissed off bald guy first seen @0:52 in the above video? It's clear that Kyle Rittenhouse was not with the "BLM Militia" in the video above, but with a different group that the Police were familiar with (possibly?) when they give them water bottles and thank them. Whatever transpired before the guy chasing Kyle and throwing the Molotov at him may ultimately be irrelevant in Kyle's defense, but that is the biggest piece of the puzzle missing right now.
