I picked up a Kershaw 1670 the other day.
It has the speed safe assisted opening.
Got the knife home and gave it the Simichrome and paintstick treatment for honing the blade.
The knife will now shave the hair off your arm like a razor and its American made.
I think it was a well spent $60.00

I just picked up a Kershaw Packrat at Cabela's on sale for $49.99 + shipping. It is my new everyday carry. Light weight and mine came scary sharp. I am very happy with the purchase.

    Another +1 for Kershaw!!!!!

I've collected a few of the same Kershaws over the years. Tanto style preferred (1670BLKST). they are great knives and, minus the pocket clips, have held up very well. They could be found for $50-70 over the years.
