Hey guys just made the plunge and got a 5700ab. Is the any good how to videos on how to use some of the features on it?

Panhandler Precision on YouTube has a bunch of videos. Well explained tutorials. I’m considering the same model so I’ve been digging around.

Okay so i have watched most of his videos and i guess im still a bit confused on this video trajectory validation. When you zero your rifle are you capturing the environments in a different location in the kestrel? Do you have to zero your rifle everytime before you use it?

No. But in the gun profile you record your zero conditions. Then when you go shoot somewhere else you use the current conditions and the ballistic engine makes the necessary corrections

See that would make sense but im not seeing any environmentals in gun management

Well as long as the gun data is accurate it will be fine. The kestrel doesn’t run the full AB engine and only has what options kestrel wants.
