Kestrel 5700 always gives data to dial R not L

Does it just need recalibrated? I have right twist selected and I am not even using it for wind. It used to say L but now its always R. Anyone seen this?

Compass calibration is likely wacked out.

Even though you have your wind turned off, check to see if there is a wind speed from a former weather check, make sure to set it to zero.

I had an issue with that at the class.

I figured it out...if you just completely skip the wind step, it automatically gives you a R reading. I didn't know that.
