Up until now I have been using an old Kestrel 4000 with Trasol, due to the apparent death of Trasol I am moving over to Strelok Pro which supports Bluetooth weather devices.
I don’t want to spend the cash on a new Kestrel 5500 just to get Bluetooth functionality so it’s either going to be the Kestrel Drop D3 or the WeatherFlow WEATHERmeter for Precision Shooting.
The Kestrel D3 is $129 but does not read wind,(which is fine as I will still probably use the K4000 for wind), WeatherFlow is $84 and does wind also. Both do Temp, Hum and Density Altitude, which is all I really need, so I’m wondering is there any reason to pay the extra $43 for the Kestrel over the WF?
I'm using an iPhone 8Plus.
