When setting up the Kestrel app, the gun profile indicates that the zero range is in meters. Also, the single target has the zero in meters. If my range finder indicates target to be at 103 yards for zeroing, do I have to covert yards to meters before making any POA to POI adjustments? Are all Hornady 6.5 CM bullets considered 4DOF as opposed to G1 or G7? Thanks.

On the app version under input output you can choose yards or meters.
My understanding is if bullet is in libary it has been shot over doppler eliminates the need fot user input such as G1 G7. At least that is how I have used it.

The 4DOF library doesn't give you an option, you true it by adjusting the form factor. The regular bullet library will let you choose the G you want and then you true with the BC.

Thanks for the info. Still unsure. The gun profile app has Zero Range in meters and I don't see how you can change it. The single target frame shows under Gun - ZR 100 m. Just below that is Rng (m) 93. ???

I just looked, I have never used single target on the app I always just use the kestrel, not sue how you change that to yards. PM the Hornady rep on the hide and they will gt you an answer.

Link it with the Kestrel, problem fixed.
I found the answer to my question. Using the Kestrel link, once you save your gun profile, at the top of the screen directly across from the word profile, there are three little boxes. If you tap on them, you can select settings. Scroll down to distance units and you can chose meters or yards. Appreciate your help and hope that this helps out someone else with a similar question.
