Kestrel Sportsman to 5700 Elite upgrade with Custom Drag selected

So I took the plunge and upgraded my Sportsman to a 5700 and then to the Elite model with the upgrade purchase along with cable. I loaded my profile in using the Loader program and under the bullet library it warned by selecting the Custom model for my selected bullet that the BC will display as a 1 if your trying it on the Sportsman model. So I uploaded the profile and I show a 1.00 at the BC section on my
Kestrel. is this normal since my Kestrel is technically a sportsman model that is only an upgrade Elite instead of being a real Elite?
