Wanting electronic so they can easily understand everything without yelling.

I believe Pro Ears makes a set of ear pro for smaller heads ie women and children.

I got my 5 and 9 year old some Walker Razor Slim. Think I paid around $50 per pair. So far no problems.

I bought the Howard Leight Impact Sport Sound Amplification Electronic Shooting Earmuffs for my kids. The indoor range was so loud that we doubled their ear pro with foam as well.
They had never shot indoors until then, and were having a good experience after having double ear pro.
