Kidd barrel finishes

Anybidy have a kidd light weight and ultra light notice the ultra has a flatter finish?

We have 4 Kidd rifles with ULW barrels, two silver two black. don't have a LW to compare the finish(es) to. Can you post a picture of them?

The one I have had in hand the light weight is slightly shinier. I like it. Looks just like the one on their site. The UL is a much flatter in person than what I saw on the site

My guess would be it's just the way the pictures were taken, maybe settings, maybe lighting. I'd be willing to bet put side by side under the same lighting conditions, camera settings / photo angle they are the same...I doubt they use a different "finish" for the different barrels; given the finish being advertised as the "same".

I would be inclined to agree. But the finish on my lightweight barrel was nicer than my UL

I have a Kidd ULW, and like the matte finish personally.

My last Kidd ulw barrel has the flat finish i prefer the semi gloss finish on my older Kidd.
