Kidd rear tang

Is it worth the hassle? I have a Ruger receiver Kidd trigger, guts and barrel. It shoots Eley force into low 2s high 1s at 50yards unless. I get bit by the wind
In a Boyd’s Tacticool stock. A friend of mine will cut the receiver for a 6 pack of good beer. I will have to inlett and rebed. Anyone who has done it does it help? Good plan or if it isn’t broke don’t fix it?

If your shooting in the 1s and 2s, your probably shooting at the edge of the performance window of the ammunition. That, and Kidd doesn't include the rear tang extension on their Supergrade custom builds. It's not even an option. That says something to me...
