Hunting & Fishing killed 7 pigs with one shot

Finally got time to hunt when the piggies were out and killed this pregnant sow yesterday at dusk. She has six fetal pigs in her. She was about 150#. We ate the ham a little while ago and it was delicious.

I killed it with a 6.5mm lapua scenar 139gr bullet at 2850 fps through the left neck and out the shoulder taking the aorta and vena cava along the way. DRT.

Efficient population control. Scenars cost money. No scense in using seven when one will do the job.

No russian blood that I know of, just feral pigs from the pascagoula river area.

My nephew was stoked when we gutted her and found the fetal pigs. He asked me to cut one out so he could show it to his dad.

A guy could put those little piggies on a rottisserie just like cornish game hens... yummy!

oh... 7 pigs with one shot, i was thinking somewhere along the lines of a 5gal bucket, 1/2 full of tannerite with some shell corn around it.

The most I have killed with one shot is 4 and that was with a 416 Rigby. Killing 2 with a 308 is pretty common.

Anytime you kill a pig is a good thing, congrats......kill em all
