I love to hunt bear and prefer to hunt them in sunny weather and at the time of day when reflections can be pretty bad. I've been using the sunshade that came with my nxs but am curious if a killflash would work better at keeping game from spotting a reflection. How is the sight picture when shooting directly (or close to it) into the sun? I've read that they help considerably in a rainy situation. What are the pros and cons compared to a 4"-6" sunshade? Are there any drawbacks to painting a killflash? If a person does paint one, will any flat color work or will some colors distort the sight picture?
