The funny thing is that China may very well be the one to lay an iron-gauntleted smackdown on Lil' Kim. South Korea is one of the largest and most important trading partners for Beijing and the Norks are trying to cockblock the construction of an overland route that would make shipping times 3x faster and cheaper. That is not going to go well with corporate interests from either side who hold a lot of influence within their governments.

Another thing is that with the recent pattern of executions for every failed diplomatic mission abroad, someone in the next team of representatives sent out to engage in talks may just realize that if he might never get to see his family again, he might as well put a Tokarev to tubby's head and pull the trigger. Yes Reuters is not the source of the story it just copied suff published in South Korean news (entire report is based on one anonymous source who claimed to have knowledge of the situation ( must be mister Ho on turist visa reporting from Pyongyang Airport to his uncle Bong in Seul ). Reuters publication gets picked up by other media that more or less copy paste shit. In the end many cases of these suposedly 'executed' Norks turnin up alive and well kinda sugests shit is fake.
