LOL I just spit up on my keyboard....
I have had hands on 3 examples of Kimbers best shot at a tactical rifle and can tell you this is far from the truth! Throw a decent bedding job in the mix then you have something. I have a few Kimber rifles (84M and 8400 classic/super america/longmaster/etc) and the ones I have in wood stocks have beutiful bedding. But for some reason the same guy isnt bedding the tacticals as far as when the 2 examples of 300WM rifles my friend and I recieved.
Good luck with your new stick though, once I got the worms out of mine it is a very usefull LR rifle with a great action.
BTW I think CDI makes a bottom metal for the 8400 308, he had an 8400 308 for sale a while back with his DBM on it.
