Hello, looking at buying a Kimber Longmaster 22-250. Wondering if anyone has any information on the accuracy and quality of these guns. I have always been a Remington 700 guy but after holding this gun, it seems very nice.
Thanks

Re: Kimber Longmaster 22-250 info

I just had one in the shop a customer wanted me to look at with the borescope. I has about 1200 rounds through and looked great - was asking if in needed re-barreled yet. I told him it has lots of life left. Said it shot .5 moa. Nice barrel on it, straight chamber job : )

Good luck and hope it helps.

Thanks, did you happen to measure the length of the chamber while it was there. I have noticed some 22-250s, well most rifles likes the bullets seated close to the lands.

When I bought my Kimber it came with a two piece set of Leupold bases. They work fine. However I would definitely recommend you lap the rings. The rifle now wears a Sightron SII in 4X16. IMO this scope is more than adequate for a 223 hunting rifle. Tom.

Christpher7,
I wanted to follow up with you about the 22-250 Kimber a customer of mine has. He himself does not reload for it yet, His freind reloads the 55 Blitzkings and 55 Noslers for him although I think he said one was discontinued. He said it will shoot consitant .5 MOA and has shot many 5 shot groups that you could cover with a dime. He's pretty happy with it.

Hope it works out for you,

JamieD
