I have handled and shot a few. Not a bad rifle, but accuracy seems hit and miss , no pun intended.
For the $$ I would look elsewhere. Fierce, CA, Bergara, or even a Tikka/Sako
My hunting partner has one in 300 WSM. Accuracy is acceptable for shorter range hunting, 300 yards or so . Better choices available for the money in my opinion , especially Tikka if you want light weight and a good value .
For long action go with Tikka, short action Kimber but harder to find accuracy with the Kimber even with hand rolled. Tikka shoots more accurate out of the box even with off the shelf factory loads.
In 17 years never had a Tikka come back for warranty. Cant say that about any other manufacture including those mention here. In my opinion, Tikka is hard to beat for the nuggets. But if I was mountain hunting the Kimber is very appealing due to the weight, just have to find that perfect load.
Had a hard time finding accuracy with my Kimber Montana in 300 wsm. It was a nice lightweight rifle, but beyond 400 yards had trouble hitting anything. I would go with a Tikka.
Feel like I should add: My cold bore POI was also shifty - not only in my Montana 300 wsm, but also in my longmaster 308 win. The longmaster was a very good shooter - even at distance with multiple loads, but much more finicky to load for than my steyr scout. The longmaster is a very nice shooting rifle and beautiful, but the trigger does have some creep.
