KING OF 2 MILES IN SOUTH AFRICA
Impact Xtreme Shooting wrapped up the 2019 South African ELR season with two world class international events, namely Master of 2KM & King of 2Miles, 14-16 Nov.

The M2KM+ event challenged shooters from 1171-2440Yds. Conditions were challenging to say the least, a huge storm rolled in during the qualifications round lunchtime with resultant gale force winds, rain, hail & a dust storm only to be greeted by a warm sunny afternoon thereafter. 1st Brendan Fike (338LM), 2nd Etienne de Beer (338LM) & 3rd Jay Dvorsky (375CT). The Cold Bore prize secured by Jaco Heyns Snr (11.8”square plate @ 1171Yds)

The KO2M+ event was the first official 2Mile international competition on the African Continent, match rules derived from the official KO2M rules. Targets were purposely positioned at various incline angles & strewn over a wide radius, from sandy fields, cliff tops & rocky outcrops to a mountain summit. Distances of 1813-3529Yds were engaged under the hot African summer sun. 1st DJ van Zyl (416B), 2nd Alex Marr (460Steyr) & 3rd Brendan Fike (338LM). Cold Bore prize went to Brendan Fike. (15.7” square plate @ 1813Yds).
