Good morning all.
Checking in with an update.
This project is totally waiting on me.
Per previous posts, the lockup for the folding stock of the Zealot is being tweaked. The original wasn't bad. In fact it was quite good. But I was not happy with it so here we are. . . .
While we were in the assembly model, I tweaked a few tiny things that I would not have changed had we not already been in CAD modifying the model. Most would never notice some of the updates but they will cumulatively make the Zealot chassis even more rugged as well as smoothing out some assembly steps.
The latch buttons are already machined, nitrided and delivered to KMW. Just that part is over $6,500.00 in inventory sitting here. That combined with the inventory of other custom springs, Z-latches, etc. that is staying the same makes for a juicy carrot dangling on the end of the string for us to get this done ASAP.
Final tweaks on the fixturing and tool path programing are being made.
We may finally be getting close.
Thank you for your patience and have a great week.
