I bought this from a hide member (Kiba) back in March/19. He bought it new prior to the offering of FDE by KRG, and refinished it using epoxy based AlumaHide/Brownells. He stressed the prep work he did prior and I believe him based on the durability of the finish over tha last 9 months. When I purchased it - First thing I did was send it to the smith to have the chassis properly cut to accept Tikka CTR mags (Didn’t want to give them up) (involved adding the TRG extended mag release also)

I am calling the condition good+ due to a couple of very small nicks near the Mag well. Sides. Top and the rest of the bottom look very good to me. Very cool chassis that I liked, but I am looking to take this particular rifle back to a stock

All of the below would cost $1,656.00 new from KRG. + Gunsmith fees to accept CTR mags. A toothpick a micro touch up of Alumahide and 90 seconds, and you could not tell the difference from new IMHO. Full disclosure - I was going to spend the 90sec to touch up prior to listing and decided not toYou most likely wouldn’t have seen but I didn’t want anyone to think I was trying to deceive in some way.
