Lapua .50 BMG 800gr Bullex-N bullet?

I don't own a .50 or plan to any time soon (though I would love to own one but for financial reasons, I cant at the moment).

But I saw these bullets on Midway and was wondering how good they are. Not that I would use them if I do get a .50, but mostly out of curiosity. I mean, at $100 for 20 bullets....I'd go broke.

they are ok but lehigh and ten-x are cheaper and also i think better

I bought a shit load of them from Kaltran-Pettibone back in 2006. I got them for $20/box. Now they are selling them on Biggerhammer.com for $2.25 each-per projectile that is.They are outstanding. The current price is way out of hand though.I have both 750 and 800 grain versions.

Lehigh's bullets are GTG and his prices are excellent.Even Hornady A-maxes are getting pricey. But if you want long range accuracy from a 50-you can't shoot surplus pulled projectiles. Big boy toys aren't cheap.
