Rifle Scopes LaRue LT-104 Lapping?

Saturday weather looks good for much-needed range trip.

Have several ARs to be exercised. Need to mount scopes using LaRue LT-104 QDs. Want to avoid ring marks on new scopes.

Should I lap the LT-104s? Have Kokopelli Accurizing Kits to do it with if necessary but doubt all can be done before Saturday.

I used a LT-111 mount for 6 months on a scope, and removed it to sell the scope. Neither the scope or mount has any marks on it. You should be good to go without lapping.

Don't lap Larue rings.

I have not lapped my LT-104. Been off and on my rifle several times and torqued according to the manufacturers specs. No ring marks.

I havent witnessed any marks on scopes from LaRue mounts.

I've had probably a dozen LaRue mounts and none of them have ever left a mark on a scope.
