Rifle Scopes Larue mounts

I didn't have any issues with the couple of Nightforce optics that I had mounted in LaRue mounts. I believe that if you torque the bottom screws first and then the top screws per the instructions from LaRue that should mitigate any potential issues. That being said if you are looking to buy a QD mount there are better options then LaRue on the market and if you already have one well alrighty then.
Thanks. I generally use GDI or Bobro for QD but I've had a scope in a Larue for a couple years and didn't want to have issues.
LaRue is solid, and used in battle. At one point, a few years back, I felt that they had the best mounts available. Either other brands have come-up, or I have become aware of other great mounts. Either way, there are a number of great mounts available. When it comes to quick detach, LaRue and Bobro come first to mind.

I am not a fan of Larue mounts, yes I know the Marines use them, I had one on my IAR for 6 months; that's not a good reason. There are better designs out there, particularly Bobro, but I also like ADM.

There was actually some behind the scenes drama with the USMC using them.
The original contract was written as not to use Larue mounts because of the mount part, then they skipped this part of the testing and choose the Larue as there was some discussion about favoritism, but it went forward anyway. When tested they actually do very poorly but things being the way they are, it's not hard to get picked for use regardless of the results.

I did not make that, it's from 7 years ago when Larue came on here and had a meltdown
I did a video on GDI Mounts and never once mentioned Larue, but he swore I was attacking him personally. He even tried to get me fired from Rifles Only over it and posted like 3 pages on here while I was on the range so he was fighting with himself.

I was all fired up about buying the Larue mount in QD. Got suckered in by the Magpul video.
Had some issues with it, swapped it out for an ADM and haven't had any trouble since.
I'm actually a fan of the ADM. I had 30mm rings on it at first, then bought a 34mm scope. For $60 I bought 34mm rings to go on the base and didn't have to buy a whole new mount.
