Does anyone know if the OBR triggers are based off the AR15 triggers? I measured the pin distance and height to centerline and it appears to be the same as an AR15 platform.

American Trigger Corp. has the AR Gold trigger and an SR Gold trigger (SR25/DPMS) and I'm trying to see which one would fit.

Re: LaRue OBR Trigger

If I may ask...what is wrong with the Geissele trigger that came with your OBR? Or do you just want a single stage, instead of the 2-stage trigger?

Either way, you need the SR Gold Trigger designed for the 308/7.62 platform and, to mirror Shannon's comment, I think you need to contact them to order the one with a modified hammer to operate properly with the OBR carrier.

Re: LaRue OBR Trigger

We are just T&Eing the triggers. We received 2 and were under the impression one was for the AR15 and the other for the .308, but they appear the same. These are 2 stage triggers that can be adjusted to single stage.

Re: LaRue OBR Trigger

I'm pretty sure there is not a difference between .308 and AR-15 triggers. I upgraded my SSA to a DMR without a hickup, and it wasn't a special .308 DMR.

Re: LaRue OBR Trigger

Im installing a Wilson TTU in my OBR this afternoon, they work in my MWS(1st gen BCG) and my Mega build with the Armalite BCG EDIT the TTU works fine on the OBR

Re: LaRue OBR Trigger

I recently finished wringing out the gold trigger in my OBR compared to the stock trigger.

What I found was (along with a much lighter pull), my hits and groupings were much more consistent. My best group size didn't change, but the flyers out to .75 and .8 groups went away with the gold trigger. I feel like it is much easier to be consistent with it.

Re: LaRue OBR Trigger

May I also recomend the Wilson Combat TTU they have both 2 stage and single stage triggers. I use the non adj. 4 lbs single stsge trigger in my DPMS LR 308. I have put 300 rnds through it without any issues.they are a .154 pin diameter
