Just so you know if you fall on your AR15 while doing drills and bang it on polls,Doors,Rails and the hand guard bends in where a sure fire light is mounted NO WARRANTY (SureFire is fine)...
That being said,I did abuse it,understand I told them how it happend and I use some of my Kit hard, no bullshit story just facts and left it up to Larue to fix it or not..

Daniel Defence Light rail AR15 and AR10 I have abused Much more than the LARUE RAIL no Bending,PRI carbone Fiber rail I have beat Like no tomorrow no problems.

I Have a DD light Rail Inbound which is proven will hold up to My abusive ways.

Still Love LARUE mounts, they are proven durable/repeatable threw use over and Over..

Re: Larue Rail

Did you e-mail Mark about it? or just call the normal number. I had an issue with a Laure product, first answer wasn't satisfactory. I e-mailed Mark about it and he took care of it promptly.

Re: Larue Rail

I called the normal number and talked to JP he talked to the guy that handles such and called me back with a NO GO on the warranty..Again I didnt sugar coat it and told him I hit it hard and was a second hand owner,So No problem realy I am not upset they didnt warranty it,Its not like it didnt fit,or just bent on the bench shooting paper at the 100. I didnt expect it to bend though, from my experiance with Other rails I have had for YEARS of Abuse,The Larue didnt make it over two weeks..

I Didnt Email mark,No need to bother him,Realy dont need the rail replaced because it wont hold up to my use,I would have sold the new one if they did replce it,all other LARUE Products I have used for Years have been super,Just asumed the rail was up to speed with my needs..

I have a machinist going to cut out the bad part at the front and make a Rifle rail into a 9" or 10" and put it on a less needed/abused weapon at some point..

If anyone beats there KIT hard I would Look for another rail,Normal users will be Fine!

So ASM1 is a liar because you he doesn't provide your noob ass pics? He's been around these parts a long time, and you have to ask yourself, WTF would he have to gain from lying about this?

Shut up. I've had larue kit fail while deployed so the impossible (in your mind) can happen. Larue isn't the end all be all of kit

Re: Larue Rail

Make no Mistake I am not here to bash Larue,But to Inform my fellow brothern that do use kit as Hard as I do to look for stronger equipment.

I was abusing my weapon beyond what most will ever do,That said there are stronger rails to take this abuse,Albet they will fail with enough force,But My use has yet to Fail a DD or PRI,This is from experiance and not theory.
I love LARUE mounts and will continue useing there mounts and hope maybe they will see this and build a stronger rail from my thread,Not that they need to do so,unless they want me to buy another rail..

This is not the First thing I killed Useing it my way.

Re: Larue Rail

Its useable as is for just a hand guard,But the integrity is Gone and it will keep crushing If I keep useing it,I Wont be able to Know I have a weapon ready to Do the Job 100%,I have Rail mounted Lasers/Sights that Pre zero that atach to the rail when needed,They will not retain zero as you see my rail.. <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: Jig Stick</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Maybe its me, but it doesnt look to bad. Its definitely bent. Does it affect the functionality? Just wondering. </div></div>

Re: Larue Rail

I think that should be covered by the warranty. Pulled straight off the LaRue website.

"<span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'">Our strong point is our guarantee - "If you ain't happy, then we ain't happy". This "Lifetime" guarantee means as long as I'm alive you can return any defective LT part for a full refund or exchange.</span> "

Only he can answer that question.

I've got news for you. I've been around a long time to. Installed dozens and dozens of LaRue rails. My interest is ALWAYS peaked when these threads pop up. Especially when it involves arguably the most robust rail system on the market. Trust but verify...

Peaked interest, of course. Wording that would insinuate that someone is being untruthful, no.

In the south we don't take kindly to being called liars, regardless of how many rails you've installed. A better way to word it would have been:

That's uncommon, can we see some pics of the damage, maybe more info on how it happened?

Instead you chose:

"something isn't right here...." And "in order to maintain credibility provide pics of "bent" rail...."

Quotations around "bent" also implying that ASM1 was being untruthful.

Big difference. Just sayin'...

Re: Larue Rail

Banged it on a few Polls hard, then I went from a bent knee's engage position to kneeling position transition to Pistol I triped and fell on the weapon,The SUREFIRE was against my mag carrier on my LBE when I hit the Dirt.

Re: Larue Rail

Aside from the fact this rail bent. The DD Lite is a superior design. I can think of many rails I would choose before LaRue (DD Lite, Centurion C4, DD OmegaX).

Re: Larue Rail

I am not as hard on my stuff as ASM1, but it occasionally gets worked out.
I like the DD M4 Rails, not a "mono" design, lighter than the "LITE" rail, some don't like the aluminum barrel nut.
My other favorites are the LMT MRP uppers, Rifle Length with SS 16" and SBR 10.5".

Re: Larue Rail

Your telling me "something is now missing",How about 3 or so inches of my rail after it was cut to remove the bent section.<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: Mobius38</div><div class="ubbcode-body"><span style="color: #FF0000">Something is missing in this</span>. So Curious as to What defective "products" did Larue Warranty for you ?
