Hey guys, I recently picked up a Larue SPR quick detach scope mount for my AR. I LOVE this thing, it seems to be quite solid.
I am wondering if this scope mount is well suited to long range precision shooting. I am going to be building up a badger m2008 action in an AICS stock to try to get a very accurate shooter that retains some tactical abilities. My question is, are the SPR rings good enough for such an application? They seem quite rigid to me, but I know that even a very small amount of movement can throw my shot off.
The reason why they appeal to me is that I currently have a very nice Nikon Tactical scope on a different rifle. For the time being at least, I will have to share this scope between the other rifle and the new build, as I won't have enough money to have a scope dedicated to either one.
Thoughts or suggestions?
