Last "Hero of Telemark", who led the raid that sabotaged Hitler's nuclear project, died this weekend.

One of Norway's greatest heroes of all time, Joachim Rønneberg, passed away this weekend.
Rønneberg led the commando raid that disrupted the production of "heavy water" needed to produce a nazi nuclear weapon.
The raid has been featured in several books, movies and TV-series .

I went to Norsk Hydro in 2012... it's an amazing place. Was there in June and walked the 'route' that they took up into the plant. It almost killed me. In June. And all I was carrying was a waterbottle and a camera.

The feat those guys pulled off was incredible... Beyond amazing.
