Can I use a Leupold short action base (0 angle) on a lawton 7000 action?

no lawton is round front and back and remington is flat in back

You can use 2 remington front bases (off of a 2 piece mount). You'll need 8x40 screws for the mounts.

Yes the two front off of a 700 will work
