Website: Welcome to Trident Fitness

Mission:
-To train and equip Law Enforcement Snipers in advanced tactics and skill sets with a focus on target identification, and communication in low light scenarios. We will continue advancing the capabilities of the LEO Snipers by introducing new techniques and skills important in real life situations through education, practical application, and training under stressful conditions.

Concerns:
-Sniper Teams are responsible to protect the officers on the ground, civilians, and themselves. Without proper training, Sniper Teams can very easily misidentify the threat, placing the civilians, and other officers on scene in even greater jeopardy.
-Target identification, concise communication between the parties involved (officers/dispatch/witnesses/negotiators) can make or break a mission. Many times we find the scene to be chaotic and stressful environment to work in causing confusion, and frustration, which degrade the chance of mission success.
-As technology rapidly advances we must keep our training up to speed with our equipment. Tools like night vision and suppressors only work as an asset if we train with them under stress. Many officers get on scene and resort back to old training and equipment because of the stress of the mission and lack of understanding how to properly use the equipment or how to effectively implement it. Knowing your equipment’s capabilities and limitations is crucial to mission success.
-The carbine is a very effective weapon system, which in many cases is over looked from a training standpoint in LE. Since many engagements from LE Sniper Teams usually occur with in 100m, the 5.56 platform should me more readily available, and trained with as an option in urban environments.

Solutions/Topics to cover:
-Engaging targets from unconventional firing positions at unknown distances.
-Preforms drills with advanced target identification scenerios based on memory drills and clear communication with other officers.
-Navigating, stalking, and ranging targets.
-Training at night and low light conditions with night vision, suppressors, lasers, and any other equipment officers have for identifying and engaging targets properly in these conditions.
-5.56-carbine assault to sniper drills.
-Individual and Team Sniper stress courses to test the skills learned during the course of training.

These are a few topics to be covered in great detail. Your Officers will leave this course better equipped to handle threatening situations increasing the safety for the civilians and Officers on scene, along with the sniper teams themselves.

Previous Reviews:
-“Rich, you did a great job, and I have had tons of positive feedback from the guys that were there. In my opinion your 8-hour block of training was by far the best training the MATOA has ever put on. You should be proud of that because I have had some major bad dudes conduct some training with us, and you beat them all. I guess SEALs really are the best of the best.”

Brian Grant New Castle SWAT, DE President of the Mid-Atlantic Tactical Officers Association (MATOA)

-“My favorite part of the course was the tactical shooting/turning and shooting. This course was very "out of the box." You must run a tactical rifle course next!”
Miguel
SWAT/Marine

-“Great instruction! Hit all the main principals involved with tactical shooting. The "stress course" tested the real abilities of the shooters. It was a good level for a civilian course, and Rich is a great instructor with a lot of knowledge!”
