LE Wilson dies are being recommended to me for at-the-range loading and I am game for it. However, I was not recommended everything I need to purchase. I am used to bolted-to-the-bench reloaders with screw in dies. It looks like you have to buy LE Wilson tools a la carte, so what all do I need?
The bullet seater die is easy to order, but with the neck sizer it says I need bushings, not included... Ok. What bushings?
Can anyone recommend a good arbor press? I like the looks of the K&M Shooting press sold by Brownells, but I have no experience with K&M.
If I want to reload .308 at the range--which I do--can someone just provide me a list of the LE Wilson tools I need to buy (less a trimmer...I have that stuff which is portable enough).
Electronic Powder throwers... I want one. I've been doing it the old fashioned way forever, but I want to save some time. The plan is to use the electronic powder thrower to throw the powder for me less a grain of the target weight, then trickle in the last grain. This way, I can throw 20+ charges, set them aside and finish each charge with the trickler and store them in the range bag for use at the range.
So... Hornady, RCBS, Lyman.. others? Opinions/experiences, please!
Thanks, Y'all.
