So I went to a surplus store I haven't been to in a long while and it reminded me of all the cool stuff he has. It's different than all the other surplus stores I've been to. It's called "Historical Military Sales" (shit, we always called it "Ranger Surplus" because he has a big ranger regt. scroll in the window!).
Anyway, he has a lot of OLD stuff, stuff he'd be willing to part with. I saw some old scope mount for some old sniper rifle yesterday among other things. Good prices, I picked up a Tactical Concealment Viper tog for $60; new they're over $250 for this one and it's basically new. Then I got a PVS14 magnifier for another $60, new they're close to $500. So he has good prices (but still wants $10 for used milspec AR mags, go figure). It all depends I guess. He lowballs the shit out of stuff he buys so he can usually offer a good price.
Nevertheless, I walked out with nearly $800 worth of practically new shit for $133, tax included. The magnifier was never used and the tog was over burlapped and appears unused. He's always taken good care of soldiers too, always (except when you go to sell something).
It's worth a shot to call him if you are looking for a hard to find part, if he doesn't have it he may know who does because he's pretty well connected I assume, it seems like he also collects himself.
Number is: +1 253-584-5449. They aren't open very much, they don't have normal hours, never have.
