I came across these. I don't shoot enough 50 BMG to really justify reloading it but I own 2 50 BMG rifles. I only load on a Dillon 650 right now and I load pistol only.

I am going to be loading 260 rem and 338 lapua soon. I have dies ordered for both and will not be able to do the 338 on the Dillon.

I want to buy a single stage press and was thinking if this is a decent press I might pick one up with the 50 BMG dies and go from there. For 200 you can't hardly beat it if it's a good press.

Re: Lee 50BMG Classic press

I bought the full kit that Mechanic linked to on Midway. I've probably loaded 1-200 rounds on it now with no complaints. It definitely makes shooting the 50 a little more affordable.

Re: Lee 50BMG Classic press

It's a decent press for the 50bmg if your not into volume handloading. Yes, it's a tad bit short when seating the 750gr and up A Max type bullets but it's not a big deal.

I recently went to using it for resizing and priming the 308 Win and really like it. The primer arm works very well and you dont have to worry about the spent primers falling to the floor. Head and shoulders above the RCBS in that aspect.

I used my birthday promotion when I got my Lee kit and paided only $160 at Midway. They have a $10-$25 and $50 off promotion depnding on what is spent going on until Nov.15.

PM me and I can give you the codes.
