I shoot left handed and always ran right handed actions. I'm having a rifle built now in .308 with a left hand action. Now I want a left hand .22 bolt gun as well. I already have a savage FV-SR in a manners stock. I can have the current stock converted for a left hand action so that will be easy enough but the choices for left handed savages is limited. The only heavy barreled action I've found is the Mark II BTVLSS Rifle .22 LR. It cost more than most of their rimfires since it's stainless and comes with a nice laminate thumb hole stock that I would ditch right away. Is there any other models I'm missing? I thought about going with a CZ but since I already have the T4 for the savage it'll be easier to stay with savage. I have a 40x too so I understand there are more accurate .22's out there so I don't need pointed in a different direction.

unfortunately, I don't think there is another heavy barreled .22 lefty option on the savage line up. I was looking for a .22 trainer about a year ago and just went with the lighter blued barreled one since it was cheaper and I was on a pretty tight budget.

We have Savage LH in the used section at our local gun store. Blued with a wood stock if I remember right.

Is it the thin barrel with iron sights?
I just found a 541T heavy barrel from a local guy that i didn't need to see because it's very tempting and not the direction I was trying to go in. What's the price on those usually?

Savage will mix/match their parts and stocks, sell to you at MSRP, and ship to your dealer for transfer. You want them to build a FLVSS for you.

Or if you can get a really good price on a BTLVSS you can just sell the stock
