Looking for some input on this rifle. I have searched over and over and found this rifle to be not too popular, yet every review I did find, the gun shot lights out. Looking for some real feedback and opinions please.

It is a fine rifle. Depends upon what you are looking for. I think it is very competitive with LaRue OBR, and used rifles available at deeper discounts. Also comparable to LMT MWS.

^^^^^^ Regarding Spam ^^^^^^^

Disregard the above comment ,Les Baer 308's ARs are Miles ahead of any LaRue product or LMT in Accuracy, and out of the box performance.

Les bear Rifles are made for one purpose, and one purpose only.. pure accuracy!!! If any other uneducated Fucktard tries to argue this point just ask the other manufacturers to print you two 5 shot SUB 1/4 MOA Groups ..

OP the reason you don't hear much about the LBC Rifles is because they come as is, and in a community that is overpopulated by A LOT of Tacticool twats, and because it has never been affiliated with the military it's not going to get much publicity.. As stated above the LBC Rifles are all about the Accuracy, LB could give two shit's about if it can run in the sand or suppressed, it's all about putting small groups on Paper or Steal. And as for the people who own LB Rifles, we just keep on grinning..

My only question about this is if this is marketed towards LE, which I would assume it is given the SWAT in the name, will it have issues in dirty conditions or suppressed? As someone who carries a 308 on duty I would be very interested in a LB but it would need to be suppressed and function flawlessly in sandy conditions.

I have the rifle in a 20" it does indeed shoot lights out and with 43.1 gr Varget under a 178gr amax I have had it down to .24 Moa - if you want a deal on one that has had less than 600 rounds through it talk to me, I never shoot it anymore since I got into 6.5, it is the softest shooting 308 semi that I have, and to kamkaze's post - the barrel has been threaded and I run a thunderbeast ultra 9 can on this it runs flawlesly. If you are actually SWAT or some sort of a special reaction team, send LB what you need with a Department Letter Head and he will build it to your specs.

Just remember ultimate reliability and sub half MOA accuracy never work well together.. but for law enforcement duties I have no doubt that any of his rifles will be absolutely reliable. It's when you start playing the Sandbox that a 1-1.5 MOA AR that never stops running becomes the best rifle to have.

I appreciate it, we are looking to replace our m110's and I think the LB will be added to the list. Letter Head isn't an issue.

My first precision rifle was an LBC .264. Love that little gun, and as stated above, it is incredibly accurate with Black Hills factory ammunition.

Les Baer rifles plain shoot. Just like others have mentioned. They might not "look" as cool as some of the others, but what they may lack in appearance to some (i could careless about how it looks) it DEFINITELY makes up in the accuracy department. Bolt gun accuracy is no problem if you can shoot that well. Can you? I cant shoot a semi that well consistently
