I'm looking at getting the Civil model..Let me know guys what you thing. Are they good on the 1/2" moa. Are they worth the money..What's a used one usually go far.. I'm wanting an AR to shoot both far the fun or it and the cheaper reloading. But I also wanted something that will stake them..

I shot one a few weeks ago, I liked it a lot, held sub MOA at 100 with bags. The rifle belongs to my friend and he held that the rifle has a 1:9 on it, I would like to see it with a faster twist. Trigger was great, no stoppages in the 250 rounds fired. Good stick as far as I can see.

I built off a Les Baer matched upper and lower and used a Noveske barrel. It is plenty accurate but I would not buy their products again. Tolerances were not that great and there was still a premium fee attached to it.

I own one. It is very very accurate. I bought the whole gun instead of just the upper and some one else's lower. The fit and finish is the best I have seen. Tight as any ar I have or have seen. I had mine treaded and run it with a AAC Cylone suppressor. I took it out the first of June on a dog shoot. I have a leupold 6.5 by 20 by 50 on it. I plan on next spring buying another but this time in 204 Ruger or the 6.5. In my opinion it is the best ( but yes very expensive).

I have owned 2 and both were 1/2 moa guns. I think they get a bad rap because they are not tacticool enough for some. For a precision AR they are pretty hard to beat. Plus really no more than something comparable.

I have had a 20" barrel 223 Ultimate varmint Les Baer since 2002. I shoot 50 gr Nosler bal tips w/ 26.0 gr Win 748 and LC reprocessed brass w/ Win primers. Consistent 1/4 MOA since I've had it. I have shot a 21 shot 1/2moa group w/ it. I also have had a Wilson Ut-15 & a Larue complete AR. Neither can, consistently, shoot w/ the Les Baer. I've never tried any match ammo, as I use mine exclusively for varmint hunting. Yes, they are expensive; get what you pay for.

I got a used one 1 in Oct. & playing with handloads ,on paper I'v hit some mid teen groups with 69 gr.Sierra's. I'v also took some 308 cases out & set them in a drilled piece of oak @ 100yds & shot them through the necks taking out only the primer pockets. Grant it, not all the time, but the IPSC model with the right load & the shooter on his game, makes it worth the price

Great guns, I have 3 of them, but for some reason, do not appeal to the Tacticool bunch. I think they like to start with cheaper ones and hang more cool stuff on them. I use mine as EDC in the truck and on the tractor. Quit carrying the 1911. I think of the M4 type with Surefire suppressor as my 500 meter 1911. I suggested to a friend who ask what to buy that he try a Les Baer and a Novesky (sp?) and he got both and said no comparison. Baer wins hands down.
