Les Baer M4 - value ?

Im thinking more and more about letting my Les Baer M4 go so I thought I would ask the experts about what to expect if I decide to sell.
I bought it new in 2004
Have put about 450 rounds down the tube and back in the safe it went.

Almost brand new...
Les Baer M4 16"
Ultimate AR flat top M4
w/versa pod
and Les Baer precision EDM rings
and soft case

Thanks in advance for any input

I think I paid just over $2100

im pretty sure there's a rule against exactly what you are doing right now. look up gunbroker and gunsamerica, look for rifles listed that are similar to yours. dont hold me to it, but i believe rule of thumb is at most 75% orig value.

John at Proload sells Les Baer's a GREAT prices. Call them and get a price for a new one (their price is less than list, etc.) - deduct app. 25% and more than likely you are G2G.

CDNN has the LB M-4's for like 1200-1300 bucks if I am thinking right.

I did see a LB Police Special 16" AR for $1200.00 - which is app $400 less than LB lists them for. I will check their catalog again - as if it is a M4 (not just a M4 contour barrel) - that is a real good price.

My opinion is that you can ask what ever you want but that doesn't mean anyone will buy it for that price. As stated above look for what others are trying to sell them for and stay close to that value? Les Baer makes some nice stuff but right now the market is flush with AR's due to the recent Obama scare so prices have come down. I have recently seen a lot of AR's on sale from manufactures. The makret ramped up and now it has to get rid of the glut in the market. Pure Economics 101.

Ive been looking but dont see to many Les Baer M4's here or gunbroker for that matter.

I just looked on the CDNN catalog and its not that one. It has a 16" stainless barrel no compensator and what seems to be about a 12 full picatinny rail.
there is one on gunbroker now for 2200 and some change brand new.
If I could figure out how to post a pic i would.
