After ignoring my range bag for quite some time I decided to clean out all the dirt, dead spiders and random debris that all bags accumulate over time. I bought this particular bag from Lowe’s when I still shot USPSA and 3-gun nearly 20 years ago. It has served me well and with all the pockets, pouches, nooks and crannies can be pressed into service for nearly any shooting discipline. The only other bag I ever used was a Camelbak BFM that I used when shooting sniper matches but that was just a part of that particular game.

The best bag I’ve had, for what I do, is the Eberlestock Ranger. It works perfect for PRS type matches.
I was really hoping to inspire pictures of your range bags with the actual load out. Just to give other members ideas and as everyone knows I am a pictures guy and I do not read the articles...LOL

I use a Mystery Ranch 2DAP as my primary range bag/competition pack.

Things have evolved since this pic was taken but not too terribly much. I don't carry the Fat Bag as much and the knee pads were replaced with lighter ones from Lowes and the mags and ammo carriers change depending on what rifles I'm taking with me.

Outside pouch gets first aid items and the upper zippered pouch gets immediate needs things like Kestrel, LRF, lens cloth, etc....

Main compartment still gets packed like this pretty much, knee pads on bottom, Game Changer, rear bag, etc...the front slit pocket now stows my tripod table and targets go in the rear most slit compartment. The side zippered pouches hold spare bipod feet, gloves, sling, snacks, data cards, etc. The outside open pockets get a field maintenance kit and other items depending on what's needing to be carried.

This zippered access pocket is good for targets, ammo, mags, etc...it's a pretty versatile compartment.

I've been running the pack this way for the better part of four years and it's been going strong and haven't felt a significant enough need to try a different pack.
