Rifle Scopes Leupold 4.5-14x40 56130 Opinions?

Thinking about "downgrading" the optics on my rifle to this scope. I currently have a Mk4 LR/T 3.5-10x40 M2 TMR FDE on it, but as my eyes get older, the TMR reticle is getting a little busy. (Watch for this in the for sale section soon!)

Couple things I noticed about the 56130 in my research. First is that it supposedly has 100MOA W/E adjustments, whereas my current scopes, and the others in that series are 65MOA. Can anyone confirm this? Second, the reticle is likely designed to be utilized at 14x. If so, this will make it even easier for my eyes to use.

The target turrets don't bother me, but I'll probably eventually send it off for M1's. Anyone know if this would limit the travel to 65MOA?

maybe I can help answer some questions on the Leupold. I have one in that model scope. It has 100 moa with target turrents. I also have another model 4.5 x 14 x 40 LR model, I just recently got it back from Leupold, had a TMR put in it and M1 knobs put on. When I counted the MOA , I came up with 95. I dont know if the M1 knobs effect it, but for me that is close enough.

I have a 4.5-14x40LR with the duplex, side focus and had M1 turrets put on just recently. The thing is a pretty sweet setup. I always wanted to get into a 3.5-10 Mk4 though, I may be interested in doing some sort of a trade. PM me if you're interested.

Solid scope, and for a lot less than the M1 version the target turrets are worth it. They have worked for years and years, just not as high speed low drag as M1's.

I have 2 of these with M1 knobs and TMR's. Love them.

You should also look at the Springfield Government 4-16X. It does have a 56 mm bell, don't know if that will be too big. It has internal leveling ( Buble) and lit reticle too.
