I don't. I'm out near old Hodgson Mill in Dora. I shoot up at Big Piney Sportsman's Lodge in Houston, MO. They've got a range out to 800 yards. There are a few of us locally who shoot long range if you're interested.
Hell i didnt know there was a range that close to me that you could shoot that far.I have been handicapped by a measly 350 yrds.(safely keep on my own land}.
You bet im interested, the only problem i can forsee is i work on a towboat so my time at home is limited.(28days on 14 off)I go back to work tomorrow i will be gone 28 days. When i get home i will pm you to see if you and the guys have any plans to get some range time if thats ok.
how much are range fees?
You all might want to check my thread below about this scope, I love it and think it is a "best buy" in a Tactical scope, BUT the adjustment are in INCHES @ 100 yards (SMOA) instead of true MOA.
I think $50 for the year, and you don't have to be a member to shoot the matches which are held monthly (alternating, modified F-class, and tactical). They also have rimfire, and two gun matches if that's your thing.
50$ dollars a year roger that sounds great.
mod.f-class sounds very good but with my limited 350yrd.experiance that will be awhile.I need a lot more practice with longer ranges first. the furthest i have ever got to shoot was 500yds.When i get home from the boat i will pm you(if ok)maybe i can catch a time when some of you guys are heading up there in the hope of gaining some experiance.
Thanks:
ps hellbender im looking at the same scope inches dont bother me i am, how should i say, lack of experince produes no smarts on very high end optics with moa/moa,mil/mil.haha
