Not seeing any feedback on these. Anyone have experience beyond the youtube videos that came out when they first launched? Looking to use them for hunting. I was leaning toward the Sigs given all the info out there but I figured I would ask.

I had a pair of Pro Guide BX-4 HD (non-rangefinder) I paid $300 for in the PX. I’m not sure about rangefinder BX-4s.
Mine were great Jap made binoculars with excellent edge to edge clarity. The resolution seemed very capable to 500-600 yards. Great bang for the buck IMO. Only sold them after I got some Sig 3ks with range finding. The Sigs are a fairly significant drop in optical clarity from the Leupolds. I have Sig 10K LRF binos and they’re great. Glass is ok like the 3K’s. Very fast, accurate ballistics and all the info is on the screen immediately.

Sig kills it in software. Horrible in the glass department.

Leupys and the new Burris 10×42 LRF are both made in Japan. Very nice glass for their price point.
Wish Burris had firing solution software on board, look nice. Wondering how the firing solutions in the Leupold are? I have my kestrel but all in one package would be nice. Sounding more and more like I should go sig for the AB on board or see what is released in January.

I'd personally opt for the brands that offer a true lifetime warranty including their electronics such as Vortex, Athlon, Burris and Maven.

Leupold only has a two year limited warranty. I called them to ask their warranty customer service department what happens after the 2 year warranty is up and they quit working properly and was told they don't do repairs past the warranty and only offer a discount for a replacement after the warranty expires.

SIG has a limited 5 year electronics warranty (NOTE: from date of manufacture NOT DATE OF ACTUAL PURCHASE based on serial number) and also have no intention to do any out of warranty repairs.

I'm waiting for Maven to come out with a laser rangefinder binoculars since they have a lifetime warranty on their electronics. Their rangefinder seems to be best in class in regards to optical quality, function and rangefinder capability with a lifetime warranty.

SIG treated me right on replacement with an upgrade.

I like how the 6k looks. Very similar to my bx-4. I don't like that it's ab lite and not full.
The 10k have the blue tint like the 3k. I'm assuming it has something to do with the laser they're using, but I'm not buying until the release a clear version with the full ab.

Leupolds LRF performance has been historically disappointing, you’re lucky if they range reflective targets to half of their stated distances in ideal conditions.

Not saying they couldn’t turn this around and these could be better, but I wouldn’t spend my money on them until it’s well confirmed.

I would also confirm that they’re made in Japan like the standard BX4 because I’ve heard mentions otherwise. If they’re chinesium you might as well go vortex and have an excellent LRF and lifetime warranty on it.

I'm pretty sure the Leupold BX4 LRF is in fact Chinese made.

If Leupold's product line manager is to be believed..
