That is an extremely busy reticle. In my fairly short time shooting movers in competition I feel that the simpler the better. There’s a lot going on with a mover and the less I have to think about the better. I just “trap” the target. Seems like most of my holds have been from 1.5-2.5 mil holds on the edge of the target. Pretty straight forward. Not sure what the CCH reticle does that a standard mil reticle can’t. Just my opinion.

I would consider a Horus far to busy IMO. If it works for you great. More power to you.
A standard mil reticle to me would be like a vortex EBR-1c. Just standard hash marks every half and full mil.
Perhaps hold over for both windage and elevation...
Was that a trick question?
For the OP, it's going to be different based on a lot of factors its hard to say how close they will be.
As reubenski said you will have to input the data for your particular load and conditions and see.

Christmas tree isn't a standard mil reticle though, it's a christmas tree reticle.
I do agree that Christmas tree reticles are a better option than a grid/horus style reticle, really wish Leupold offered a SKMR3 or EBR-2C type reticle.
