Rifle Scopes Leupold Golden Ring 10x42mm HD Binoculars

I'm looking to get a new pair of bino's. I like the Leupold Golden Ring 10x42mm HD Bino's. I only want to spend $700 at the most, Cabelas has them on sale for $699 and Leupold has a $100 mail in rebate. Have any of you guys looked through or have a pair? What do you guys think about these bino's? Or what would you guys recommend?

Good optics, heavy, eyecups are a bit uncomfortable for some, but a decent option.

The Vortex Vipers 10x42 I would prefer over these, for less money.

i bought a pair of their MK4 10x for a trip to Alaska. I was very impressed and very reasonably priced.
