It's new and never mounted, but it has been out of the box several times. The one end of the box had the serial number and bar code cut out for proof of purchase, for the Leupold rebate. Model number 174546, I'm selling all my longer-range guns, Optics, bipods, and many Area 419 and Atlas bipods. I will have them listed in the next few days—this scope I bought in the hopes of using it for local PRS matches and hunting. But that's not going to happen. The scope is in excellent condition.
