Greeting folks. I'm new to the hide and have been browsing for some time for insight as i look to get into long range shooting (300-1000 yrds). I started my research into glass and rifles a few months ago to see options and prices and came across the following MARK 8 3.5-25X56 M5B2 ILLUM. FFP TREMOR 3 170813 MSRP $4,699.99 listed on an auction site for $3400. I could not find much reviews on this scope but I do own mark 8 1.1-8 CQBSS and know its a solid scope and hold their value well. Speaking to the seller he offered to give it to me $3200 and offered free shipping and so I pulled the trigger. Item showed up sealed in box brand new which i was relieved.
I am looking get some feedback on this scope compared to all the other options I could have gone with at this price point and to answer the question in the back of my mind, did I score as big of a deal on this scope as I think I did given they are no longer available purchase for me to reference current market value.
