I have seen a million of the Leupold Mark4 scopes but not to many of the Mark2 scopes. Has there ever been a review anywere on the Mark2?
I see the mark2 are about $300-$550, about $600 cheaper than the Mark4s.
How do the Leupold Mark2 scopes rate? (ex. 6x-18x40mm T1)
Are they a good scope?
They also (on most Mark2 models if not all) have the T1 turrets with the cover caps.
I would think they would probly be a good scope for a AR-setup type rifle. I see Leupold come out with a "AR Series" scope but all it looks like is the Mark2 with the name changed to the "AR" name! Laziness.
Also I see the Mark2's have the screw on caps which is nice in the woods so you dont have to worry about anything snagging your knobs/turrets.
I know the Mark4's out-rank the Mark2 scopes on any day but I was just wondering how good these scopes were for the price they are.
Thanks
