So I discovered at the last match I was at my 7-35x Mark5 elevation come up is being limited somehow. With the turret cap on it’s limiting the up travel from my zero to 10.4 mils, .1 under one full revolution. When I pull the cap I get 23.7 mils up travel and 13.2 mils down travel. That is more or less in line with the 4 other Mark5 I have. (3- 7-35x, 3-18x) I swapped 5 other elevation caps on and they all stopped at 10.4. Not sure what do to beyond send it in to Leupold for warranty just curious if anyone else has experienced this.

Sounds like something is binding or maybe the factory zero internally was off. Only other thought is the mount has 30+ MOA base and it's flipped backwards.

once before I've seen an internal burr in the cap mechanism catch, take it off and check inside to make sure there isn't anything there, is it a hard stop or does it feel like you could turn past it with a little effort?

Update-
Seems like there must've been a burr internally. Gave it some extra oomph and got it past 10.4. It stopped similarly a few more spots. I'm up to 20.5

After 10.4 it would stop then I got it to turn without clicks then dialed back down and it would click up to the next stop. Repeated that a few times to get to 20.5

Next step I suppose is re-check zero and tracking
