Looking for a leupold mk4 zero stop turret. I know Peterson made one but I haven’t been able to find one, anyone have any leads on who makes one or where to get one at?
About 20 years ago a member here selling what amounted to plastic washers that were used as zero stop shims for MkIV elevation turrets.
They went underneath the turret.
The idea was that the shims would stop the turret from turning past your zero when you dialed it down.
I’ve had a bunch of MkIV 6.5-20x50 SF M1 and 8.5-25x50 SF M1 Mildot scopes and have never seen a zero stop offered by Leupold for them. Mine are long gone at this point, save one that’s gathering dust.
Maybe @Trigger Monkey knows something about this as he used to work for Premier…
I worked at Premier Reticles in the S&B days and at the beginning of the Heritage, I don't know much about Leupold scopes. In this day and age a DIY shim set up is probably the only way to have an effective "zero stop" set up with the M1 turret.
