Gave it a field test this weekend. Some really nice features. Just a heads up.
1. You need at least 1 RCX controller; it can be used for multiple cameras
2. The RCX cameras let you use your controller to see the view of your camera live so that you can adjust it as needed to have it aimed exactly as you want it.
3. RCX-2 gives you multiple range choices: 90ft , 45ft range or Auto range
4. Uses 8 AA batteries for the camera and a rechargeable battery for the viewer
5. You can use up to a 32 gb SDHC in the camera; you can either pop out the card and replace it or just plug in the usb and download your images on to your viewer which also uses up to a 32gb card
6. You can name the camera so that the pictures will be labelled for where you put it
7. Temperature, time, moon & date will be time stamped; the RCX-2 also gives your BAROMETRIC pressure on the pictures
8. Choice of pictures or video with multiple options for each of these (duration of video, multi picture, etc)
9. RCX-2 has 48 IR sensors (you can choose to only use 36 for power saving)
Will post pictures when I get back out to MS to check it in 2 weeks
