Any of you guys using one of the Leupold rimfire scopes ?
The VX-2 3-9X33 Rimfire EFR or the Mark AR rimfire are the two I have in mind.
The main features I like are the OA that goes down to 10yds and the adjustable exposed turrets.

Re: Leupold rimfire scopes

I've got the 3-9 vxII, optical quality isn't the greatest (fishbowl) but its about the only thing available with AO and a small diameter eyepiece.

Re: Leupold rimfire scopes

Ltfire, I have the EFR on my Volq 17 HMR, they engraved the CDS dial for the Hornady 17 gr Vmax, its damn near dead on at 300. For the money its a great scope IMO.

Re: Leupold rimfire scopes

Bought one (4x) for my daughters rifle was not up to my other leupold a so I sold it and put on a weaver V16. Much better for mot much more money.

Re: Leupold rimfire scopes

Have you looked at the burris timberline scopes? the 4.5-14x32 is supposed to focus down to 7yds, and you get a little more top end magnification. They have a 3-9x32, but I dont think it has an AO. I think they are around $260 new.

I thought sightron also made a rimfire scope at one time with an AO, but I cant seem to find any info. I think it was an SII 3-9x36 with AO, but it may be discontinued.
