Rifle Scopes leupold scope problem???

I got my new 308 set up with a Vari-X 3, the windage knob turns but doesn't click. I turned it to what would be 5 MOA (.25 MOA clicks) and only moved POI 1/4 inch, the elevation knob works fine (nether of them have target knobs). What would be the problem?

Since nobody has answered you, the problem be....It's broken. Call Leupold in the AM and ship that sucker back to them for a fix.

Nothing unusual, just Leupold's continuing commitment to quality...or not. But in fairness, anything man-made can go TU, and usually at the worst time of year....

Its a older Leupold when they built there stuff to last, Will call them soon. It is the worst time of the year haha (Just got a new rifle my first "Precision rifle"). It is my dads scope he let me use it tell I get a optic of my own.

Hmmm...since they have to fix anyway, maybe you can talk them into putting M1 turrets on that baby. Maybe weasel them out of at least one free one anyway. Or maybe give you a generous allowance on an upgrade.

Whenever, I had to approach Leupold for service because their stuff broke, if I huff, puff, and wine enough sometimes I can get good deals out of them. Never hurts to try. Worst they can say is NO....

Doesn't hurt to ask...
