Any Leupold VX-3i LRP owners here? Reading some reviews it seems some say the eye relief is a very small window. Otherwise they get good reviews.
I may have the opportunity to buy one new for less the the MSR.
The model I'm looking at is 8.5 x 25.
Thank you

I shoot 2 of the 8.5-25s back in SA.

The eye relief is pretty sensitive and changes quite a lot as magnification goes up but one gets used to it.

What bugs me the most is that the turret has a small amount of movement in it and sometimes it can be difficult to tell if you are on the right mark and not one above or below

Other than that they are great scopes for what one pays for them and I have had both of mine (22creed and 6.5creed) out to 1000m and back without noticing any issue with tracking

It's a tough call for me. Growing up you couldn't go wrong with Leupold brand. I would also like to buy from a USA company. However 7 bills is a lot of coin for me. Don't want to get behind a scope that every time I use it I wish I bought something else.

Have the vx3i 4.5-14x44 30mm side focus cds, honestly shot 50rds thru it so far, eye relief is ok, aint terrible. Have had a Hennie 4-16 for a decade now so I am spoiled. But in all honesty my scope isnt bad, obviously only a high of 14, but seems ok, I am not looking all the time to get perfect.
